E-commerce Product Owner
We are looking for a proactive E-commerce Product Owner to manage our growing products. As a E-commerce Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining the product vision and strategy that meets the business needs for both www.planetasport.rs and www.eplaneta.rs online stores . You are a business-focused, highly-organized and communicative individual who is able to work with cross-functional teams. You are passionate about technology and product growth, and have a deep understanding of the market and business needs, and meeting the needs of business stakeholders, customers and users.
Responsibilities:
- Create roadmaps in alignment with the overall strategy and customer needs
- Manage and prioritize the backlog to ensure goal alignment
- Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to create the product vision for the development team
- Work in an agile environment that nurtures continuous development and delivery
- Enable the scrum team to deliver high business value through software
- Collaborate with other teams (Operations, Internet Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, HR) to understand their needs and to increase business value and ROI
- Lead external development teams in implementing digital solutions for the retail industry
- Plan product releases and upgrades
- Write user stories and define the acceptance criteria
- Produce and maintain product documentation for product features and functionalities
- Identify risks during product development and resolve issues
- Identify business needs and propose new initiatives to enable further growth
- Share knowledge with other Product Owners regarding best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / economics (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager (PM) / Business Analyst (BA)
- Experience with using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Understanding agile methodologies
- Experience in working with Scrum
- Ability to work individually and as part of distributed and cross-functional teams
- Drive to maximize product value with a customer-first mindset
- Creative, strategic and detail-oriented
- Ability to balance product, resource and time constraints
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational, problem-solving, time-management and analytical skills
- High-level understanding of the software development process
- Good written English skillset
